"Big time fun at this small-town getaway!"
Not far from
Minneapolis – about 30 miles – and in the heart of some of the
prettiest country in northwest Wisconsin is the town of River Falls.
Selected as a “Dreamtown” by Demographics Daily magazine, River
Falls boasts a busy college campus (University of Wisconsin-River
Falls), the summer training camp for the Kansas City Chiefs and one
of the finest trout streams in all of America – the Kinnickinnic.
It is the natural beauty of the area that attracts people to the
area. Try a canoe trip down the “Kinni” and enjoy towering canyons
and ancient forest. Rather not paddle? Take a bicycle or just take
a hike along miles of trails that follow the river while you enjoy
the incredible scenery. You could simply stay in town and enjoy
historic Main Street, take in a concert, art festival or sample the
great specialty shops and restaurants. Whatever your
preference, River Falls is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy what
nature - and the friendly folks of River Falls - have to offer.
It is always big-time fun in this small-town getaway!
