Dells area is approximately 4 hours from the Chicago area and the drive
is relatively easy – unless you undertake to start the trip at 4:00 pm
on a Friday night! There are water parks and water activities galore,
plenty of amusements, gift shops and scenic trails, fishing, camping and
golfing… the list is endless. And oh, by the way, there are always the
world-famous Ducks: the amphibious WWII vehicles that travel on land and
water – always a must see In the Dells. Trademarked as the “Waterpark
Capital of the World,” it is definitely a family kind of place!
